I've kept busy over the last few months adding features and working on the site. We just barely completed a move to TRAVERSEMOUNTAIN.ORG from travmtn.com. This new domain will hopefully make it easier to tell neighbors and others about. The old travmtn.com forwards to here so hopefully we don't lose anyone in the move.

Some of the new features of the site include a live video shot of Triumph Blvd that can be viewd at the Live View link on the left. We've also more recently added a Business Directory where registered members of the site can post their business information.

There is also a fairly new Facebook group for Traverse Mountain residents. A lot of the features on this site can't be done there, but Facebook is a great place for people to connect and to have discussions. Be sure to check it out if you're a facebooker.

The Traverse Mountain Community website has been broken for a long time. I ran some updates over a year ago, which prevented new user registrations, broke email notifications, and other bizarre behavior. When I tried to restore from my backups, the site failed completely. Because of school and other things, I was too busy to spend time rebuilding the site.

However, this week, I have rebuilt the site from scratch and imported the user accounts, and forum posts from the previous site. Things generally look the same, but most of the modules are newer versions with improved functionality. Please check out the new updated Community Map and new Live View sections. I also plan to release a business directory so that all those running local business or home-based businesses can list their business for free.

Please let me know if you run into any weird problems or permissions issues that may still be outstanding from site rebuild.
